A Broken heart is what changes people?

by - Thursday, September 19, 2019

We never talk about our heartbreaks with our friends and family. And why would we really? It’s hard enough to think about it let alone talk about it.

But its there, the pain, its always there.

We just put on a really good mask to hide all of it from others. And you don’t have to accept it me or others obviously but deep down you know you do put a mask. Not now maybe but once in a while you do and I know some of us still do.

But when we hear a song or words that relate to our pain, it instantly becomes our favorite.

Doesn't it?

Somehow in all the hiding, we forget it’s changing us along the way. And we don’t even notice it until it’s far too long to go back. I am not saying it’s a bad choice. Nobody can tell you that.

But we don’t think of the consequences when we put that mask.

It's not every day that we face the pain of a broken heart and I believe we all have faced it once in our life till now.

I am not going to suggest you talk your friends and family because I am not entirely sure that works anyhow.

Somethings are cannot be understood by anyone but you.

We have to deal with this on our own and in our own ways. (And I am not talking about drastic actions. Don’t be self-destructive.)

Somehow our main enemy is our mind. The worst part is, it has all the memories you want to keep and don’t want to keep at the same time.

It’s frustrating and exhausting!

If you want to ride that storm alone, I am no one to tell you otherwise. But decide first that you want to keep your mask of ‘so-called everything is okay and happy’ ON or NOT.

Because if you do put it then you are splitting yourself into two parts, one for the world to show and other for you to bear alone.

Which I am sure you already know!

But be prepared to be changed in many ways than you hadn’t thought of or imagined.

And those who are not putting masks, well fellas take it easy you still have a broken heart to mend. The world is not very helping when it comes to people with broken hearts.

Or so I have noticed.
